Staci Bender Epstein

Staci is a serial entrepreneur who believes in the value of networking, connecting and relationships. It is what inspires her to “be” who she is today. Staci has successfully matched people and companies for years – solving problems for clients and watching people thrive in their careers. This is what drove Staci to start her second company – Be Group.

For two decades, Staci has been working with many of the region’s greatest leaders who are now part of her core network. Her business experience, extensive involvement on numerous boards, and background in sales and marketing taught her how to ask the right questions, understand what clients need and find candidates who exceed expectations.

An Inspiring Entrepreneur

Prior to starting Be Group, Staci was Founder and Principal of Slice Communications, a Public Relations and Social Media agency launched in 2007 where she built her reputation as an extremely hard-working and goal-oriented entrepreneur. Authenticity is at her core. To “be” unordinary and to be inspiring are simply part of her DNA.

Building a Foundation

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Staci launched her career in account management and business development at Markitects, a strategic marketing, branding and communications agency. She then served as marketing manager for Innovation Philadelphia, a dynamic economic development organization. Staci also served as a business development manager at MISI Company (now NTT Data), an IT staffing and consulting company.

Staci was selected as one of the Philadelphia Business Journal 40 Under 40 for the Class of 2016. The 40 Under 40 award recognizes young professionals in Greater Philadelphia for outstanding success and contributions to their community. Award recipients represent some the region’s most entrepreneurial and influential up-and-comers.
